Our Story

Our journey started in 2008, founded by former Mac makeup artist Kathy Cervantes, who aimed to create a makeup line that was bold and distinctive, setting it apart from other brands. Kathy sought to break the mold and wanted her unique makeup line to leave a lasting impression. After exploring different ideas, she launched Bitch Slap Cosmetics, confident that the catchy name would draw attention.

As she began her venture, she collaborated with some of the top makeup artists and top hairstylists and worked for Penthouse and Playboy Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders as one of the top makeup artists in the business, embracing the idea that being different is a strength. Her philosophy was straightforward: don’t just follow trends; set them. This is how BSC evolved into a widely recognized brand featured in notable publications such as Allure, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, BuzzFeed, MTV, and the Huffington Post, and movies such as "The Week Of" featuring Adam Sandler and Chris Rock, selling hundreds of thousands of products worldwide, including her signature Vajaj and penis wheels and penis-shaped Big Daddy lipsticks.

Kathy has now stepped back and entrusted her innovative makeup line to new investors, while she continues to contribute only to the creative area and the shape and designs for upcoming product launches.
